SII Hydraulic headbox

First installed in the early 1990s, the SII hydraulic headbox pioneered the concept of basic weight by dilution process.

Piezo-static distribution.

The first component of this system is the central piezo-static distributor. This is a distributor whose balance is ensured by the uniform counter pressure achieved by the air cushion that damps the pulsations. The hydraulic box design ensures a flat orientation profile on the whole width.
