Screening
Noss screening systems are uniquely designed to meet today's high demand for efficiency, flexibility and offer applications for all pulp qualities. These include the pressure screen RADISCREEN; the tailing screen RADITRIM; and the latest development to come from the Noss laboratories, PERISCREEN, a pressurised screen used for fine and machine screening of all pulp and stock types.
PERISCREEN-F can be used for practically all types of pulps such as recycled, broke, bleached or unbleached kraft as well as mechanical pulp and is recommended for both high and low consistency applications. All requirements regarding separation efficiency that are made on a state-of-the-art fine screen are met and the screen is a particularly good choice when the demands for cleanliness are high. It has been especially designed to improve the total economy in the process by reducing the overall investment costs as well as the operating and maintenance costs.
PERISCREEN-M serves as a protection screen effectively removing remaining impurities and deflocculating the stock prior to entering the head-box. This high capacity machine screen features low energy consumption, high efficiency, low maintenance costs and compact design. It can be used for all stock types and applications as an important stage in the approach flow system. Due to its functional design, PERISCREEN-M is practically pulsation free, which in combination with the excellent de-flocculation effect promotes good formation and very low MD and CD variations.
