RADICLONE
Fibre fractionation can be used successfully to improve product quality and production economy. The fractionation can be applied at several positions in the production process.
The fibre raw material used for paper production normally is very inhomogeneous in respect of fibre length and cross section. By fractionation, a furnish can be divided either into two or more pulps suitable for different and improved end products, or developed into a more homogeneous pulp with improved paper making quality and a more cost-effective production.
Fractionation can be done with two different techniques: with hydrocyclones fibres can be separated according to cross section, and with barrier screens according to length.
Individually or in combination, screen and hydrocyclone fractionation makes it possible to use the right type of fibre for every product.
