Filtercel ACS

The Filtercel ACS is a pressurised in-line filter with an automatic cleaning system designed for fine filtration of starch and coating colour and to guarantee a continuous and stable feeding of coating heads.

Operation principle

Product flow is downwards (1) (2) and outwards
Filtering media is slotted basket (3)
3 continuous reject outlets:

• on top cover: for lightweight contaminants such as air (4)
• at the filter bottom: for heavyweight contaminants (5)
• through the shaft: for other contaminants, mainly fibres (6)

Continuous cleaning of the filtering area with a rotative
system (7)
Equipped with 2 scrapping blades and 1 suction ramp (8)
Drive by gear motor from the bottom (9)

Filtration range: from 80 to 500 microns
